For the fall of 2015 we will be studying the book of Job, a vivid testimony to pain, a plea for justice, and discussion on suffering and its causes.
Discussion will include questions about the roles that God and humans play in human suffering and how our relationship with God can proceed in the midst of overwhelming anguish. This book grasps our minds and emotions as Job wrestles with suffering.
Thursdays, Sept. 24 – October 29
Morning Group: 9:30 – 11:00 a.m./ Evening Group: 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Join us in either morning or evening group as we enter into Job’s story, and wrestle with human suffering in our own lives and in the world around us.
The cost is $15 for materials. Please call the parish office at 939-6436, ext. 22 or email Karen Seaborn at email@example.com by September 10 to sign up.
