Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Parishioners, commissioned by the bishop, are trained to help distribute Holy Communion at Mass.
Extraordinary Ministers to the Homebound
Some Special Ministers of the Eucharist are needed to bring Holy Communion to the parishioners challenged by confinement, to the local nursing homes and to conduct Communion Services.

Individuals, couples and families, in the name of the whole community, present the offertory gifts at the Eucharist. Contact Ken Gibbs for more information.
Parishioners gifted with the ability to proclaim the Word of God at Mass are invited to serve in this ministry. Preparation and training are given. Contact Donna Lance for more information.
Ministers of Hospitality (Ushers/Greeters)
Ushers and Greeters serve by welcoming worshipers, taking up the collection, distributing bulletins and assisting their fellow parishioners. Contact Jeff Kraus for more information.
Parishioners who assist the priest and deacon with preparation for the weekend, holy day and funeral Masses. Duties include readying the sanctuary and worship space, preparing the host and cups and assisting the servers. Contact the parish office if you are interested in coordinating volunteers for this ministry.
All 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students (SPPCS and PSR) are invited to assist at the alter. Special training is given to the students. We also have an Adult Server Ministry for those adults interested in being Acolytes. Contact Dave Miskell for more information.
The music ministry enhances the worship at parish liturgies. Contact Bryan Mueller for more information.
The Adult Choir sings twice a month, usually at the 8:00 a.m. Sunday Mass, for Midnight Mass, Holy Week and Easter, Confirmation and various other liturgies. Rehearsal is held every Thursday eventing during the shcool year. Singers who are high school age or older are welcome.
Adult Handbell Choir
For special occasions, a group of hand bell ringers enhances our worship. A love of music is essential. The ability to read music is helpful, but not mandatory. Typically there are three rehearsals involved each time the group plays.
The Cantor leads the congregation in the sung praises of God at parish liturgies. Those who exercises this ministry must be truly suited and carefully prepared. A fair amount of talent and bravery are necessary for this ministry.
Contemporary Music Ensemble
Open to parishioners of all ages, this group praises God with the sound of guitars, drums and a small group of singers. This group is not for those who like to sing slow music!
Members are on call to sing for funerals in our parish.
Anyone skilled or trained in a musical instrument is invited to share their give of music at parish liturgies.
