Fellowship activities for our parish youth is a rewarding and essential stepping stone towards building a foundation of faith and service. Within the context of our Catholic Faith these experiences encourage companionship, camaraderie, and friendship.
We help the youth of our parish have activities to gather with other youth
The goal of Ss Peter and Paul Youth Group, 4:12, is to provide rewarding fellowship activities for the youth in our parish as well as provide opportunities for our students to help those in need within our community. Our activities help our young members increase their awareness of those not only in financial need but also those poor in spirit.
Depending on the activity, ages range from 3rd grade to adults. 8th graders attend to fulfill experiences for Confirmation. Parents are welcome to stay and help with activities.
The youth volunteer for the various ministries at the masses which increases their presence in our parish. We hope to add more service activities in order to show our community God’s mercy through our youth.
We have Tshirts and will place another order when we have enough interest. The shirts can be worn at any time and especially for our events and masses.
If you have any questions, would like to help out with a certain activity, or have any ideas for future events, please contact Aimee Range via fast direct or (618)334-0525.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”
